General Information

All pictures were taken with a Nikon F-70 camera with a Sigma 28-200 zoom lens. When necessary, a Nikon SB-26 flash was used for fill flashing.

The film used is Kodak Kodak Royal Gold 200 ASA, and the pictures were developed on Kodak Royal Gold paper.

The pictures were scanned with a Hewlett-Packard HP 4c scanner, 75 dpi resolution, saved in JPEG format with a 50% compression. This was done in order to minimize loading speed when receiving the Luxembourg Pictures pages. Consequently, trying to print the pictures will probably not be very successful, as the pictures will appear very "ragged" due to the rough resolution. Don't blame it on the scanner - IMHO it's excellent! But of course, when you tell the DtP software to save pictures using a low resolution, low resolution is what you get.

When looking at Luxembourg Pictures, some might find the pictures too high for their viewer - they have to scroll the screen in order to see all of a picture. Instead, try to switch from full screen and have the viewer cover only one half of the screen - eg. the left part. Then look again. The pictures were sized in order to give the best impression for 800x600 and higher screen resolutions - hence the otherwize seemingly large pictures.
